Oldtimers’ Hockey Challenge

The Legendary Hockey Heroes will be coming for the Oldtimers’ Hockey Challenge taking place 3:00pm, Sunday, March 14, 2010, at the Ricoh Coliseum.

Hockey Hall of Famers Borje Salming, Glenn Anderson, Dale Hawerchuk, Bryan Trottier, and Bobby Hull (Coach) plus Legendary Hockey Heroes Craig Simpson, Rick Vaive, Rick Middleton, Gaston Gingras, Dave Ellett, Grant Ledyard, Gary Leeman, Laurie Boschman, Dave “Tiger” Willams, Craig Muni, Tony Curry and Jimmy Mann. Rod Black and Ref Ron Hoggarth add to the competitive spirit, fun and antics of the game.

The Oldtimers Hockey Challenge is designed to give fans and players alike an opportunity to celebrate a common joy of the game while at the same time giving much needed funds to worthy organizations. A portion of the proceeds from each ticket will go to the Ontario Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics.

Famed singer Michael Burgess will peform as well as featured entertainment including a Laser the Call to Recycle Tykes, fun antics and giveaways. The Oldtimer’s Hockey Challenge tour is family fun entertainment appearing in 48 cities from coast to coast in Canada. It is the most successful tour of its kind in North America and has raised over 8.5 million dollars for hundreds of charities over the last 20 years across the country.

As an added feature all fans with a Oldtimer’s Hockey Challenge ticket are invited to bring their skates and participate in the LOWE’S Pre-Game Public Skate with some of the Legends on Sunday, March 14, 2010 between 1:00pm and 2:00pm.
